Icons8 Improved Collections for Convenient Personal Icon Sets

Icons8 library is being improved: we’ve just released the updated collection functionality according to what our users asked. Now, collecting your personal sets of icons and arranging them the way you need is now even more convenient.

With a huge library of over 145,000 icons in different styles, whatever good the navigation is, users need more options for personalized arranging the graphics they work with. The Collections functionality covers that need, and we constantly improve it according to what Icons8 users ask about to make interactions even more convenient. This week, we’ve released the updated Collections.

By adding the icon to the collections, users can name and organize them as they like, by styles, themes, projects, etc. The list of your collections is at the bottom of the screen, and you can add a new one right from there.

What has been improved in this release:

  • Having analyzed user interactions and requests, we’ve changed the UI design of collections and enhanced UX.
One collection opened
  • Now the collections can be expanded, which makes it much easier to fiddle with the tons of graphics you might have saved (that’s the most popular request Icons8 users wanted)
Collection expanded
  • One collection can be pinned now. It means that it will be marked as featured and all the icons you are saving will get into it. That makes collecting much easier and faster when you are gathering a set on one theme or for a particular project.
Collection closed

Also, just as a quick reminder, the collections are shareable by link, so you can collaborate with other designers and teammates more easily. Try to improve the collections in Icons8 and let us know what you think!
