Design tools

Free, offline, AI-powered! Lunacy is out!

Check out what’s new in this update and try all the new perks yourself.

You can watch the video for a quick overview of the tools or keep reading for a more detailed breakdown.

Import from Figma

We made it even easier: now you can just copy your Figma file link, open Lunacy, and paste it anywhere using right-click menu or paste hotkey.

Auto layouts

Create flexible responsive designs with ease, by defining constraints and rules for elements to follow.

This is how it looks without and with auto layouts

Arc editor

With the Arc editor, you can quickly create rings and semirings, design pie charts or other fancy circular elements. Draw an ellipse, and use the handles that show up within the bounding box.

AI-powered tools

Now AI-driven features for image editing are even faster and better in performance.

Image upscaler
Text generator
Background remover
Avatar generator

What else?

  • Auto Z-index. Drag layers and Lunacy will automatically determine their order (aka z-index). For example, if you drag a larger layer over a smaller one, Lunacy will place the larger layer below the smaller one.
  • Auto shape colors. When you create new shapes by dragging, Lunacy automatically applies colors from the pre-generated document color palette to shapes depending on their size and background.
  • RTL and BiDi support. Now when you select an RTL language, Lunacy’s interface mirrors itself to provide a true RTL experience.
  • New render engine. This version brings a new render engine, which means higher FPS and lower input lags.

And so much more! Download Lunacy here to try out the smart new tools. If you already have Lunacy installed on your PC, click Help -> Check for updates to get the latest version.
