Comparing Lunacy to Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD

Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch are the TOP-3 brands in the UX/UI design world. But how to select the tool to fit your needs and budget? Are there any alternatives?

We’ve made a fair, unbiased comparison of Lunacy, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD to show the pros and cons of the graphic editors. Why we did it? Because Figma’s homepage says that their product is way better than the other tools. The guys from Adobe claim that Figma sucks in a number of ways. Other competitors joined the game and draw fancy we-vs-others tables manipulating facts to sell their editor to users. That’s totally understandable. That’s how it works. We also do such things, but not this time.

How we did it:

  • We took three independent comparisons of Figma, Sketch, and XD to each other: the comparison by Michael Wong (aka Mizko), comparison by Kezz Bracey, and comparison by Coursera.
  • Then we arranged all the data from these comparisons into a table.
  • Then we added a column for Lunacy and put + or next to the features that Lunacy has or doesn’t have.

The resulting table is below.
