Why “aesthetic”?
In a word: opportunism.
One day, we woke up with a traffic spike.

This is our traffic spike after the release of iOS 14. SEO agencies, feel free to use it for your portfolio!
With my base level of happiness, I thought it was either
- a DDOS attack,
- somebody parsing us,
- all of the above,
- or something worse.
However, after a little digging, we’ve found people are searching for aesthetic app icons for iOS. They ended up on our website, getting some random icons.

This is what people saw on our website when they searched for aesthetic app icons. Could this selection of icons be dorkier?
We made what they are looking for, hopefully:

Here’s the first prototype of our opportunistic project
Why “Aesthetic,” not Aesthetic?
You can’t call something aesthetic in the world of trans-meta-post-postmodernism.

Our Goal
In the world of equal, perfect iPhones, we curate chaos. And we give you the recipes for that. Some of these images originate from popular culture, some from the past.

We also contribute everything we have created for the last eight years: our icons, illustrations, and photos. For customizing your iPhones, they are all free.

Download “Aesthetic” Icons and Show Your Customized Screens to the World
We’ve released a pack of “aesthetic” app icons on Product Hunt. As the makers of over 140k icons, we love that iOS14 lets Apple users create personalized home screens.

This trend motivated us to create our own themes and collect inspirations from around the web. Check them and surf that wave, submit your screens to see them in our collection!
